If I could give more than 5 stars, I honestly would. I've tried a lot of restaurants in Germany, but this one is definitely one of the best. The food was absolutely amazing, and the dining experience was fantastic. The waiter was extremely nice and friendly. On top of that, it took only about 10 minutes for the food to be ready.
The atmosphere is wonderful, and the restaurant is very family and kid-friendly. You can choose to sit either inside or outside.
We ordered shawarma, marina, crispy, and kebab. Every bite was on point, and especially the kebab and marina were out of this world. The appetizers and sauces were incredibly tasty, and I honestly don’t have a single thing to criticize. Also the homemade bread and tea were delicious.
If you're visiting Halle, this place is a must-try!- Mahlzeit

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Grill Albalad, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious – everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care put into every dish.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a clean and comfortable setting that makes you feel at home right away. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right throughout the meal.
One of the highlights was the variety on the menu – there’s something for everyone, whether you’re craving grilled specialties, fresh sides, or traditional favorites. The portions are generous, and the prices are very fair for the quality you get.
Overall, Grill Albalad is a fantastic place to enjoy a meal, whether you’re with friends, family, or just grabbing something good to eat. Highly recommended – I’ll definitely be coming back!- Service

One of the best Syrian restaurants in Germany. Food was super delicious. Big portions and very reasonable prices. The service was very nice, smiling and asking if everything was ok. Complementary tea was served. Clean bathrooms and enough places to sit inside as well as outside.

Our favourite shawarma restaurant in Halle. Excellent food, friendly service. Cannot understand the comments about being messed around with the bill, we have only had good experiences. We come here regularly and will definitely be back 👍

Ordering a dish there you might have to know how big their portion is and, you will need time, too.
Did order lamb with salad only like that and, it took a while to be able finish eating the whole portion with onions and bread.
Since the above all and extremely polite and friendly Syrian guy was running around - up and down the stairs - we noticed a sort of mismatch in communication, there he brought black tea and baklava to say something.
In my case, I had to manage more food than ever expected and, the guy brought tea again.
When I left he sort of disappeared, therefore I failed to have the chance to say "شكرًا لك".- Essen

Best simple shawarma in town, and such generous portions. It can sometimes be a bit dry, but if you're looking for a tasty, low cost, warm filling meal with friends, this is where it's at!
